Hi there, I'm Tara!

I'm a Seeker by nature . . .

I have always been a seeker of truth, knowledge and insight.  I rarely accept information at face value and I actually enjoy researching and finding answers.  It's probably what drew me to psychology and therapy; the challenge of figuring out the mind and the power of thoughts over our lives.  Add to that my absolute fascination with the human body and my own health struggles and you've got the makings of a Wellness Coach! 
All these years of training and experience as a therapist, coach, fitness instructor, mom, and patient create a unique skill set that I get to use to help YOU achieve your health and wellness goals.

It started with a diagnosis:

In 2011 I was a stay at home mom with 2 young kids and my health was absolutely failing.   I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, an auto-immune thyroid condition.  At the time I was barely functioning, couldn't sleep, couldn't think, gaining weight, hair falling out, the list goes on.  Basically I felt like my body was slowly failing.  All I got from my doctor at the time was "we'll wait and see" which was NOT good enough for me.  I decided then to take my health into my own hands.  I sought out alternative treatments, doctors, nutrition, and supplements.  
10 years of research into health and wellness paired with my training in therapy and coaching has brought me here.  It's been a long journey and the truth is, it's a journey I'll always be on! 
As a woman who daily overcomes struggles with an auto-immune disorder, body image, self-love and stepping into my greatness, I’m walking this journey alongside you.
